Inesa Sulaj

Biography

Inesa Sulaj is a cultural heritage expert, museologist, and creative producer based in Albania. She is an advisor to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports in Albania.

She is the co-founder of MuZEH Lab, a community-driven initiative that uses heritage and creativity as tools for education, participation, and social impact. She also works as a consultant for the European Association for Heritage Interpretation, contributing to international projects and heritage communication.

Inesa brings extensive experience in museum education, cultural programming, and participatory heritage practices, with previous roles at the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana and Attenborough Arts Centre in the UK. Her work has engaged a wide range of institutions and initiatives, including the King Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester, Hospitalfield in Scotland, USAID-funded projects in Albania, and Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB).

Her practice is driven by a strong commitment to community engagement, education, accessibility, and inclusivity across creative spaces, communities, and museums. She focuses on creating meaningful, participatory experiences that connect people with culture and heritage in impactful ways.
