Nebojša Babić was born in Belgrade in 1968.
He has been a member of ULUPUDS since 1997, and served two terms as President of the Photography Section.
He regularly exhibits both locally and internationally. He has participated in numerous art projects dedicated to photography, some of which are part of the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade.
He collaborates with various cultural institutions and advertising agencies.
He is one of the leading authors in fashion photography. His works have been published in numerous fashion catalogues and magazines. He has twice received the Pantene Beauty Award for Best Photographer of the Year.
A significant part of his work is dedicated to the contemporary music scene.
He is also a recipient of an award from GODUM (a music association).
As part of the largest literary fair (Literatureexpress 2000), organized by the European Council for Culture and UNESCO, Nebojša Babić presented a segment of contemporary Yugoslav art through his series of works, while also collaborating with UNICEF, SFF, the Red Cross, Norbs, Nurdor, “Always with Children,” and many other charitable and philanthropic foundations.
He participated in the exhibition “Aspects of the Balkans” in Thessaloniki, which featured works by more than 100 photographers from across the Balkan region.
His photograph was selected as the cover of the official exhibition program book and its marketing campaign.
In recent years, his work has been primarily focused on portrait photography.
He launched the first digital communications festival, BLINK, and was one of the founders of the first TEDx Belgrade.
Since 1998, he has been the founder of ORANGE STUDIO, an agency for visual communications and applied photography (www.orange.rs).
Orange Studio has won numerous awards for creative work, ranging from packaging design to communication campaigns.
In 2004, he founded the artistic project O3ONE Art Space, with the mission of promoting creativity across various fields of art and applied practice (www.o3one.rs).
To date, more than 1,000 events have been held, including exhibitions, performances, promotions, lectures, and festivals.
O3ONE received the first BIZART Award from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia in 2008.
