Graphic designer, Prof. Nikola Latković Late (MFA) was born in 1981 in Podgorica. After graduating from high school in Podgorica, he studied at the Department of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where he also received his Master’s degree in 2007.
He obtained the title of full professor through many years of work at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Podgorica in the fields of graphic design, typography, and design history. He also served as Dean of the FVU. In addition to Montenegro, he has exhibited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia, and Serbia. He engages in research and writing in the field of graphic design and typography, and occasionally works as a translator (Slovak, Czech, English, and Italian).
He had a shorter professional engagement in the advertising industry (Saatchi & Saatchi), and today he works commercially in graphic design and consulting under the brand “Latelje – design&to”.
His fields of education and interest also include vocal music. As a bass-baritone, he performs in large and chamber works of the Baroque and Renaissance periods, as well as on studio recordings with various vocal ensembles abroad.
He is married to his wife Dragana, with whom he has a daughter, Đina, and a son, Đoko.
